Who in their right mind would want to be with someone who gave them a black eye

If you love ’em, you love ’em, warts and all.

Most people wouldn’t care what people thought about them so much if they realized how seldom they do.

I guess I’m not a people pleaser. I don’t care what you think. Don’t bother to reply. ;-)

When you think of all the times that Earl goes to fabric stores with Opal (and he has no interest in doing so) he is telling the truth. Opal is not a people pleaser, and it is obvious that some commentators are not, either. lol

Most people are too busy worrying about what others think about them to think about others.

There’s just no pleasing that woman.

I would have gotten a huge laugh at her bon mot. I think Earl enjoys the wit.

I don’t see how two retired people have the time to sit down so much and chat. And how we had the time to do so much when we were working?
