    My elderly elkhound didn’t notice a squirrel on the fence by the vet’s door the other day. She can’t be bothered with anything smaller than a possum.

    I think Marmaduke has been hanging around King Tut too much. The butt-waggle is usually something cats do before going for attack. I’ve never seen a dog do it.

    My English Springer Spaniel, Samantha, initially chased squirrels but now she knows it’s pointless. One time she chased a squirrel who went up a tree, stopped, turned around and made mocking noises at us. Squirrels are funny : )

    I have the same problem taking my parents Great Dane for a walk. Squirrels and cats are fair game if they run. I have to hold on tight and tell him not to run. Fortunately he listens. If I don’t see the critter first however I have the same problem as above.
