Actually, the law was passed, and ignored by Bush and Obama. Trump says that he needs Democratic support to also ignore it. The Republicans control the White House, the House and the Senate. Exactly what does he need from Democrats? He needs them to cave on financing his border wall, along with an assortment of other less major issues, in order to get him to quit telling the media that it’s all the Democrats’ fault. Which might even have some chance of influencing them if anyone other than the most already drunk on the koolaid Trump supporter believed a word of it.
Strange how the Reich-Wingnuts were ALWAYS concerned about their fantasies that it was the Democrats that were plotting to take away their basic freedoms, and “Lock people Up in Deserted Wal-Marts”. Gee, whoda thunk it that it would be THEIR HEROES, the REPUBLICANS, that would be doing it FOR REAL???
I’m a pacifist and I believe in sensible gun controls, so I’m not advocating anything here. I’m just noting that many of the rabid second amendment people argue that the right to bear arms is a protection against tyranny.
It’s bad enough that the gun nut is not only OK with imprisoning children as long as they’re not white, but wants in on the “game”. Alluding to the Pizzagate BS just makes the cartoon even more disturbing.
