Did Horace just transition?
At least the mirror changes.
It could have been worse – “Alice”-like.
He found the room so creepy that he left behind the shirt in order to try to forget he was ever there.
Horace likes it stable.
Horace wouldn’t look good in red anyway.
The room changes so many different ways, Horace has no need to try the shirt on to see if HE is improved. He just needed to wait until the room reached a form he liked, and then exit it, presumably into a world he liked…
He had to reflect for a moment.
