Well I’ll be. The strip published on Christmas Eve last year really did feature a well disguised homeless woman in Pastor Chuck’s church. I wonder if Rob was laying the groundwork then for Dana’s appearance, few months later?

Kind of reminds me of the old story of a King of some country who began to wonder his city dressed as a pauper in an attempt to find out what his people really thought of him. He mostly did not like what he heard.
I apologize…. would someone be willing to give a brief synopsis comparing who Dana is (I believe she is the “homeless” person who was actually rich.) and who Sarah is (I am really confused about her.)?
I guess I have not been following closely enough and now I understand why I have been somewhat flummoxed about this arc. If I had a better idea who Sarah is, I think it will help me.
But since you have access to far more resources than Sarah, you could’ve done that any time you wanted. I award you zero points and may God have mercy on your soul.
Dana was also given the opportunity to get off the streets but refused at first. Bare that in mind. They are dissimilar in the amount of wealth each had while on the streets. Dana’s situation was directly associated with her lack of fund but in the beginning she was also portrayed as a little… um…er… in need of counseling. Sarah, although well-heeled, also appears to have had psychological issues with how her family’s overbearing expectations of her forced her into living a life she did not want to live thereby causing her to act out by rejecting all that they and their money stood for. Many would say its a good problem to have or not a problem at all but psychological issues are no joke. Her psychological issues can be as serious to her as the ones that plague people without money. It obviously affected her deeply and she is not spoiled if she was able to live like a homeless person especially when she didn’t have to. And recognize her real joy when she got her own place and own job. The money in the bag was a last resort I think. Prolly wouldn’t have touched it till things were dire.
