At first I thought this was the same idiot who said rising ocean levels are caused by rocks falling into the sea, but no . . . that was a member of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology. I’m pretty sure we are doomed.
Registering guns to registered gun owners has proven in other countries to limit illegal access to guns, and made gun owners RESPONSIBLE for what their weapons do, and where they go. “Proud cutting” the Brady bill so the government can only keep sales records for five days, while the NRA and manufacturers have PERMANENT ACCESS to those records, is plain stupid. If it’s good enough for cars and trucks, and makes recovering stolen vehicles easier, and puts the blame on hit and run drivers, and keeps people from illegally selling vehicles to folks prohibited licenses, like DUII folks, it ain’t a total cure, but it sure helps. Confiscation is NOT necessary to REGULATE, sanely, access to deadly weapons, like yes, guns and cars.
ANDYLIT, people probably stopped answering your questions because you post a lot of words but leave out a lot of facts..
Go back to Wikipedia and search for the root – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rampage_killers
If you read the text, not just look at the lists, you will see the following statement:
“Not included are school massacres, workplace killings, hate crimes or familicides, which form their own categories.”
Rather than trashing Wikipedia, which posts references for their data and they add notes stating that the article is missing data or references (like on this page), you might want to read it and look at the sources and read their clarifying notes.
ANDYLIT, try really hard to stop vivisecting the truth and look at the COMPLETE data.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rampage_killers_(school_massacres) that you called a “complete list” in one of your other posts has 56 listed. Your list is incomplete. There is additional information in
There are notes in Wikipedia that state other articles you need to review for the full picture, but you ignored that. Maybe that’s your problem with Wikipedia, you don’t follow their notes.
Nance, I am referring to mass killings. Rampage killings. I am using the Wiki lists because they apply the same definition across the board.
My post addresses ALL mass killings globally, not just school mass shootings in the US.
The Wiki list of school shootings includes hundreds of incidents that are simply not applicable, mostly with a single death or wounding.
My post addresses ALL mass killings globally. I am speaking to a specific problem. It is you who are demanding I change the criteria to fit your agenda.

Blame anything but guns, you don’t want to anger the gun lobbyists, they will stop paying you.

He’s from Texas, the state that gave us the shrub, Tom DeLay, and Rafael Ooze. What else were you expecting, an INTELLIGENT statement???

No, hey; look at all the schools in Europe. No doors at all. THAT’S why they don’t have school shootings!
Darsan54 Premium Member almost 6 years ago
Fewer doors means you congregate the students into larger groups outside which makes a easy kill zone for the next shooter.

Another “brilliant idea” from our lieutenant governor. This is what you get by electing a former right-wing radio host to a top government position.

Nance, you did it again. You are absolutely amazing.
The first link in my post is….wait for it…the list of school massacres. The entire list, not just the top 15.
Each of the following links is the full list for the 5 geographic categories offered. Not the top 15.
Now that you have your obligatory knee jerk reaction out of your system, read my post again. Follow the instructions and then look for the pattern.
Try very hard to set aside you obvious dislike of me and look at the DATA.
