Mr. “Filthy” Lucre has pinpointed the exact motivation for it all. Honor and integrity of the contests are only secondary to the profits that gambling can bring. What could possibly go wrong, huh?

You can bet New York State will be the biggest loser because rather than go to the new casinos Upstate they’ll flock to Atlantic City instead to bet on sports. Mark my words, folks.

Maybe MLB should finally put Pete Rose iln the Hall of Came in Cooperstown.

Probably not, because the egos of Commissioners runs a close second to money.

maybe pro sports will dwindle and life will be better without it …NAH!!

People who gamble are likely to start with paper money and end up with coins……..

Goodell has already stated that the NFL will not ask for a piece of the pie. Why not? Of course, that would mean having to share it with the players and we all know that the owners have no intention of doing that.
