I had a lot of fun back in the day. Taking a toaster apart and seeing how it worked. Did a lot of household repairs that way. Now most things are sealed and you can’t get at them to fix. I guess the manufactures just want you to throw things away, (and fill up our landfills), and go buy new replacement stuff.

“Occasional” repairs pretty much fits around my house. Too many things aren’t made to be repaired these days.
