I can imagine how that meeting will go. Both of them stand up and whip it out to see who as the bigger one.

I’d really like to know what happened on Kim’s visit to China.

All of this publicity about North Korea, in a show of wanting peace with its neighbors, dismantling nuclear test sites is hilarious. We all know that their test site… their main test site collapsed upon itself….? leaking radioactivity into the air. China is pretty darn upset about it, because you cannot confine fall out to the country that created it and since the prevalent wind directions blow from east to west ……blowing all of that radioactivity into China. All of this publicity of making a great show of how much and how sincerely North Korea wants to enact peace Pacts with China and South Korea is simply another con job by another con man who is trying to hide the massive Damage Done to his country by his single-minded pursuit of nuclear weapons. Knowing what it cost North Korea to produce those nuclear weapons can the rest of the world really believe he’s going to give them up????

I don’t see any way to predict what’s going to happen at the summit. We can hope for the best, but the people involved don’t inspire a lot of confidence. Should the US trust Kim? Not much. Such Kim trust Trump? Not much. But we will have to wait and see. In any case, discussion is probably better than hurling threats, even if there is no great agreement at the end. I just hope it doesn’t all blow up (as it were) and lead to more tension.

I wonder what influence the cartoon had from David Low’s depiction of Hitler and Stalin over their nonaggression treaty.
