When my sub pulled in to Toulon, France, I was hungry with little money. To my shame (as an adventurer) just off the base I got some fast food: le Big Mac and some pommes de terre frite. I later learned to hit the food cart for a pressed sandwich, 13 francs.
My one time in Paris, my main goal was to find a Burger King in order to learn what they call a Whopper in France. Alas, I never encountered one (apparently there are few if any Burger Kings in France at all).
