Slug Boogers: Replacement for “Clammy”!

I had an old Yashica Electro-35 that took wonderful photos (at least it did while you could still get mercury batteries). The only problem with it was that it was a range-finder instead of SLR, so you could take all the shots you wanted with the lens cover on.

I thought it was funny.

It’s not funny; it’s hilarious!

Probably his best work ever.

Happy May the Fourth Darth Satchel

I have no idea why Darby Conley doesn’t write new strips, but I know why comics.com keeps the reruns: they know everybody loves Get Fuzzy. And why not? It’s hilarious.

If all I find of Get Fuzzy are reruns, it will be that much easier to find the immortal “The FRUIT is TAUNTING me!” strip.

Years ago I read a true story of a wildlife photographer who left his car in the woods while he went away from it for a few minutes, and returned to find a bear cub in the car, tearing to smithereens. He started taking pictures, and comforted himself by thinking of the great pictures he would have of this situation. After the bear cub left, he checked his camera and found the lens cap was still on!

Bucky has lived much of his life with the Lens cover on.
