I always give a courtesy wave.
I agree. It used to be common in the midwest (Iowa & Nebraska) not so much anymore. However ranchers out west always give a wave to anyone they meet coming the opposite direction.

Last April 1 the local (Edmonton AB) AMA announced a new law making it mandatory to give a courtesy wave or be subject to a fine.
Do Corvette owner still give an wave of acknowledgement to each other?
