I wish speaking my mind would KEEP me from biting my tongue or the inside of my lip! Unfortunately, it happens more often than I like. Last time I bit it, I bit it really bad. I couldn’t even talk right.
Speak your mind to the wrong person, and you’ll learn the wisdom in biting your tongue. Nothing like a withering stare coupled with a more withering reply to provide the incentive to bite one’s tongue the next time.
