You guys sure cheer up Holly now revenge. Phil was the only smart one.
Holly there will be other guys and you will one day break their hearts. Oh the joys of teen romance that in some never existed.
I am thinking that Wally’s boxing skills, may have eroded just a tad, since his college days. But he wouldn’t be the first guy to make promises, that he has no chance of keeping.
Thirdguy - even with eroded boxing skills; beating up a 13 year old boy wouldn’t be a good thing. Then Phil would have to arrest Wally. (Fictionally speaking of course.)
Thirdguy, however many steps Wally may have lost as a boxer since college, he can no doubt still take a 14 year-old boy (maybe not EVERY 14 year-old, but certainly THIS one). Maybe he hasn’t been “in training” in a long time, but Wally strikes me as the type who’d keep himself reasonably fit.
Jordan’s only hope would be dance around out of Wally’s roundhouse and wear him down with quick jabs, but he simply doesn’t have the muscle mass to make his punches effective. The height/reach differential is also enough that Jordan would be limited to body blows; Wally wouldn’t have to guard his head. If Wally can get Jordan in a clinch, the fight’s over. Did you see Foreman-Holyfield ‘91? This would be like Foreman-Urkel.
My prediction: Jordan’s ahead on points after three minutes, but Wally wins by knockout halfway through Round Two.
It might even work out for Jordan in the long run; a broken nose might give his face some “character.”
Fritxoid, LOL!!!! A few things come to mind.
1) If Wally so much as touches the kid, he would be arrested.
2) If the kid danced enough to make Wally do more than 2 laps around the ring, he would be sucking so much wind, that he would soon be sucking the mat.
And, Yes, I saw Foreman Holyfield 91. Wally is neither Foreman or Holyfield.
Thirdguy,
1) I’m positing that it would be in the ring, and besides that Phil would likely turn a blind eye.
2) Like I said, I think Wally is reasonably fit. He’s gotten a bit soft around the middle, but don’t let that fool you. (I think he cycles, doesn’t he?)
I think Foreman in that fight is an apt comparison. By each bell George looked dead on his feet, but when the following round began he’d come out strong, straight at Holyfield. You could just SEE the exasperation on Holyfield’s face as the contest wore: “Why won’t this old man STAY DOWN? If I’M this tired, HE must be EXHAUSTED!!!” If that fight had lasted three more rounds, Foreman would have won, just because he kept coming back.
Fritzoid, I am giving you this round, because, you seem to have a better memory of past events, and because you know how to do names in BOLD.
Good evening my friend.
Fairportfan2 Thanks for the link to Sunset Grill It is interesting to say the least.
Thirdguy, I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic or really don’t know. One star ( * ) around a word or words is Italics. Two stars is bold, three stars is italicized bold.

Isn’t it hard to get dumped by someone that didn’t even know you were involved? But props to Phil and Wally for making Holly feel better. :)

Aww. How sweet. When you care enough to arrest someone and beat the stuffing out of him for the teen in your life.
