Only problem is it’s not in color.

I went to the local art museum and there were 3 plywood boards painted white. There was a price tag of $1500. I could do the same for about $100.

Looks more like Ellsworth Kelly than Rothko.

I was confused about Rothko until I saw a few in person. I had have to spend a few minutes looking at them in a somewhat meditative state to understand their effect.

You can’t get their effect, or even the effect of most abstract art unless you spend some time in person with the piece.

They should call Piet Mondrian.

I guess it was an elevator gag.
