People who apply for HUD housing couldn’t afford to live under that table. This was a gross abuse of his position, and standard operating procedure for Republicans.
Carson should be living on the streets like homeless people have to live for just a few months. Isn’t he supposed to be the head of Hud? Maybe he would develop a sense of what money is really worth to people who need housing assistance. Taxpayer’s money is supposed to be used for housing assistance not for someone’s status proclaiming, expensive furniture for their office. If he wants expensive furniture for his office he should pay for it himself. Otherwise he should stick with the generic furniture that has supposed to be in his office.
A career HUD employee was demoted and replaced because she refused to let Carson break the $5000 limit and a “supervisor” told her that wouldn’t buy a decent chair. Carson should not get away wih his feigned ignorance of the issue.

Well, GSA does get the furniture from Federal Prison Industries, so a lot of Ben’s buddies may be making him a new set.

Hiding behind his wife’s petticoats, sure does explain many cowards acting as bullies in this administration.

He’s planning a trip to Egypt, alone, to see the granaries.

Ben should not have mentioned his wife in defending his poor decision.
