    Good morning™, “outlaws”!

Whoever was saying it a couple of days ago is righr, I think. Lenore Case should be depicted with red hair.

These writers have had Annie, The Spirit, Popeye and now the Green Hornet as crossover guests. Do you think one day they may have Batman or Superman as guests? Serious question.

Mr. Reid is a very smart man, and courageous riding a razor wire to get the job done. it makes Tracy’s work seem easier by comparison. An he only has Kato, Miss Case and DA Scanlon.

I wonder where this crossover will lead?

Reid and Case will get to have positive interactions with Tracy & Company.

[ That “Other Guy,” maybe not so much … ]

Strongly suspect that “The Hornet” will serve mostly as a MacGuffin here. ✨

Best guess for who will be 2019’s “Guest Hero” …

    … “The Shadow.” ✨

I’m intrigued over how this is going to play out. Will Tracy eventually learn the true nature and motives of the GH, or continue to think of him as a villain? I suspect not, as that could potentially blow the GH’s cover nationwide.

Another thought, it would be really cool if we got a crossover with Modesty Blaise sometime.

Now – will Wendy try to pull a Lois Lane here and horn in on this meeting?

Is Brit’s meeting with Tracy as himself, or, as a certain green masked vigilante, with an associate of Asian ancestry?

“Dick Tracy and the MCU keep the mob contained in this city” is pretty much like saying “They keep banging their heads against the wall and getting nowhere.. instead of locking them up, they run rampant and years later get arrested” lol

    Administrivia:

One, Neil Wick mentioned Vista Bill ‘s daughter or granddaughter the other day. I don’t know her name so I couldn’t find her post.

Two, has Vista Bill ‘s account been closed? Looking at Dick Tracy past, I’m not seeing his comments.

(Of course, it may be because just about everybody is running Vista Bill postage stamps these days)

Which brings us back to Gweedo, whose account appears to remain open. No apparent news on his long term fate…

And a real frustration: Comments not in response to another comment result in flying all the way back to the top of the page as soon as you click comment! Hey, Go Comics! Cut us some slack!

By the way, if anyone is interested, archive.org has some old Green Hornet stuff, including radio shows, which is where he originated. Here’s one: archive.org/details/GreenHornet390704PutItOnIce

Schrecker is pretty good at pontificating from behind his big, executive desk. I’d kinda like to see Cyrus Topper cause him some woe, maybe to the point where he’d have to sell off SBN—obviously, to publisher Britt Reid of Central City! Mergers, buyouts, and closings happen regularly in the news business these days, and a potent Crime Boss could precipitate just that sort of change. As a Chicagolander, I live with it every day (personal lament rated most distressing: Tribune Tower about to be turned into condos and shops)….
