I think that I may have mentioned hunting mammoths to my Dad a time or two. It seemed funny to me at the time but he failed to appreciate my ‘half’ wit.

when my one boy was young I used to tell him about a story of my friends and going to a certain fishing hole to catch fish and he asked me dad, you mean you had cars way back then?

I thnk they are overdoing this for middle school. They should just have a boy/girl party that would give them a chance to check out the boy without embarrassing both Holly and the boy. This just might scare him away.

I didn’t have a date or a boyfriend til I was 17. And my parents didn’t meet him until we’d been going out for 6 months.
