    Good morning™, storage roomies!

It’s always hard to get a good sleep in a storage closet (not that I’ve tried it).

So what now—he’s going to feed the aquarium worker to the giant jellyfish?

Now commences the sequence that should end the sordid crime spree of Ghost Pepper (if it doesn’t end Ghost Pepper himself)…………

Still think “Ghost” looks like actor Mark Hamill. ✨

He looks like Ghost Pepper, no one else. And he needs to vacate the premises.

If that’s one of those cheap, lightweight plastic brooms, all you’re gonna do is make him mad.

And once again I question the writer who had a character very vocally state “IT’S NOT EVEN ON THE BLUEPRINTS” several days ago, but not only is there A) Electricity to the room but B) a gigantic fishtank and C) Someone with the keys to said “undisclosed room”

Nevermind the fact that NOW Ghost decides that he needs to contact the “mob doctor” Im almost wishing that Ghost going over the edge of the road WAS a Sweatbox Ending because it would make more sense than the ridiculous logic that’s being thrown at us.

Ummm…. unless this is the “new hiding place” that Pierre had found for Ghost, it doesn’t make sense. The room he and Pierre had entered had a small overhead light and a gigantic aquarium inside it. even if its the OPPOSITE SIDE of the tank it still doesn’t make sense. If the ONLY way to get in was a security badge, then why are there not only KEYS but also ANOTHER DOOR?!?!? Ghost is sleeping on the floor and very visible behind him in todays strip is a shelf (Which I am sure stilldamatt will notice has indeed switched sides of the door.. but I digress) and the broom and dustpan.. yet when he and Pierre entered the “only entrance to the room” they weren’t there. I will go back and check but I also have a sneaking suspicion that even the door handle in todays strip is different from the one when they entered the room

I know this is random but does anyone know where you can read the original moon maid story? I’ve only been reading this strip for a couple of months and I’m confused!

To Moon Maid question; Throught the 60s, starting in Dec. ‘63 and going on for what seems interminably the rest of the 60’s

Ghost is using two arms to swing that broom. He must be feeling better.

There’s a logical explanation for this little timmy. As Neil would say, “It must be a reflection from the mirror we’re seeing in one of the panels!”

I agree, this storyline probably should have wrapped up last week, with maybe a shoot out in the woods after Ghost’s car crashed, and maybe a week or so before the climax we could have seen more about what kind of scheme Ghost was cooking up at his restaurant which led to the murder which was the inciting incident of this story. Instead we had a week with a very forgettable character in Phishface & now a hiding-place sequence which grows more incomprehensible by the day.

The changing shape of the door handle/knob is indeed troublesome, but probably just a continuity slip-up. Otherwise, I think this “storage” room could be the same room with the huge tank that Pierre and Ghost entered originally. We’re just seeing more with the improved lighting and closer camera shot (so to speak). Problematic more is Ghost’s surprise attack on the aquarium employee with a broom; even if he caught the guy’s chin with the metallic band holding the bristles in place, it is still unlikely to do more than momentarily stun the guy, and he has a partner nearby outside the room. Ghost (whose strength is depleted by his bullet wound) is only delaying the inevitable, and probably not by much, considering that we are supposedly seeing the wind-up of this arc….
