Not sure how a cat’s paws can make a noise, though.

Bucky is alway pretty callous around Satchel so, after a while, even his paw pads could get hardened.

A little while ago, he was cursing the clapper. Now he’s entertained by it. Kitty attention span.

I don’t think that’s Bucky being amused, exactly.

He tripped, and the noise turned on the light….

but he still wants to attack Satchel in the dark.

So when the lamp is on, he claps, to turn it off,

but when it’s dark, that’s Satchel clapping…

turning it back on, to talk to Bucky…

And now they’re both annoyed.

Notice: Satch can’t converse in the Dark!

Mayhem. Fortunately, Bucky is easily distracted.

All good ole Satch needs now is a laser pointer!

Kinda funny everybody’s commenting on a cat’s paws working the Clapper.

How about a dog’s paws…. since it belongs to Satchel?

And nobody’s wondering how Bucky made a costume….

holds a plunger…. reads books (after a fashion)…

or how they both speak aloud.

If they only spoke to each other and Rob….

you know, you could think it was imaginary….

but they converse with everybody in the strip.

Animals in comic strips can do whatever they need to do to advance the plot.

Bucky can clap his paws…. and open his own cans of tuna….

and when pressured enough, clean his own litter box….

a handy talent.

Not surprised Bucky would eventually get the clap.

Who is Bucky supposed to be in that Hoodie?

The Grim Clapper?

Bucky wears cowl. Satchel howls “Foul!”

A good reminder of why I never warmed up to those clappers in the first place.

Satchel should just clap Bucky.
