I’m sure many people have been interred that way.

Forty years ago I heard a rumor about Jimmy Hoffa being part of a bridge abutment outside of St. Louis.

It would protect the body better than just a casket. Interesting idea.

Shoulda gone for the deluxe model with gold-tone rebar.

“Why are you just staring at me? Give me something concrete!”

And think of the great fossil that person will make!

Seems odd to protect “the body”. From what, and for what? Why not just wrap it in a sheet and bury that? It’g going to decompose in any case.

Talk about getting stoned…

To quote Rudyard Funn of Funn Funerals, “We get the body in the coffin in the ground on time. Everything else is just window dressing!”

I prefer to be cremated more out of respect for the price vs being buried but my son wants me to be buried. At the end of the discussion I told him, “Listen, one day when I die, do whatever you want because I won’t be around to know or care. If you want me buried then that’s fine. But if money is an issue, cremation is okay too.”
