Trump is the guy guarding the wrong door, he will always lie. If you want to know the truth, you’ll have to ask the other guy what he thinks Trump will say. Asking a known liar if he’ll tell the truth is a waste of time, he already promised he would run this country and uphold the constitution. Take a look at how many of his lordly decrees have already been struck down. He never tells the truth – about little things like golf games, he lies personal or professional topics, he lies about his administration and his connections with Russia.

Trump wants any questions in writing so he can go over the answers with his lawyers, in private.

Any testimony from Trump has to be under oath, else it is just another word salad — like his televised ‘meeting’ with Senators where news anchors sent him letters of praise before criticizing him an hour later.

Trump Disciples believe that ‘under oath’ applies only to Democrats.

Trump cannot lie because he does not understand the concepts of facts or truth. He simply says what he thinks will work best for him at that moment. How can he willfully circumvent the Constitution when he has never read it?
