Panel #1 indicates that Sam & Sedine’s living room is carpeted, as can be seen by how it intersects with the door jamb. ✨

You know in retrospect, why would Roy run away by going to Sedine’s house in the first place? Shouldn’t he have known that’s where Charlene would start the search?
