    It is a shame when the blossoming beauty pageant trees get over 30 and start breaking down. Crews with chainsaws come through and replace them with new young skinny things.

    Trees and shrubs have been found to work together and with animal life. As to time computation or just understanding it happens is so far without basis. Bees understand the Sun moving through the sky and put it as part of the their waggle dance directions to others. But trees or even shrubs? How and why?
