Toni Basil was a great, goofy nut, at a time when no one wanted physical comedy.

    Who needs pedals or brakes….

when you have that all important thing:

    Confidence!

His owners… if you want to call them that…

steer him with the leash, don’t they?

So it ought to work for a silly old bicycle…. right?

    Um… right?

In other news… Happy x 3 posted yesterday that he couldn’t find any posts from Mudd.

I looked, and didn’t see any either, so I looked up his profile.

Sure enough, he’s making comments, but they’re invisible…. that means he’s been banned.

I remembered noticing a day or two ago that he’d changed his user name …

I think to something kind of political, but not controversial….

    Net neutrality?

I could be wrong… but I was wondering whether he got flagged.

His name now seems to be

    Icky guy;mudd for short

and you can view his profile here:

    http://www.gocomics.com/profile/2648218

In any case, he’s a nice person making a long recovery from a stroke a few years ago….

Posting and having friends on the comics seems to be part of it.

    He’s come a long way.

I plan to write to the GoComics mods and ask for his return.

It doesn’t always work…. but sometimes it helps.

    As ever….

    Remember to write to moderator@GoComics.com

Do not write to customer service or use the contact us link on every page…. which goes to the same place.

Those will just delay the message and get you a reply that says it’s been handled or “solved”….

when all they mean is, it was passed along to the moderators.

    Thanks.

Mickey’s solution to the steering problem is impressive, but using Mrs. Higglepooder’s flower beds for brakes, not so much…

It’s got to make you wonder what they are thinking sometimes. My German Shepherd jumped on my Radio Flyer when I was a kid and with the subsequent momentum rode it all the way to the bottom of the long hill Thankfully there were no trees. My friends and I just stood there in shock. Duchess and I gained a lot of street cred that hot summer day. They actually believed me when I told them I trained her to do that. My best friend still tells that story. I never had the heart to tell him the truth. I should put that on my bucket list.

All the Ballard dogs know how to ride, they learned at the Ballard Bike and Fish Monger Emporium.

BTW the only way I seem to be able to print pics is thru Pinterest…hmmm
