There’s no sense preaching to that man, preacher.

Oh Aye preacher,He’s already following a path to the light. the light at the doorway to a pub,which one day with a failed liver,will lead him to another light. ( I wonder if the light to Heaven is a pure white light,and the one to the other place is,to be in character,a RED light)?

People tend to make a conversion when they’re faced with a shocking reality. That’s why we have prison or deathbed confessions. Even Andy, after another bar room brawl and subsequent lengthly stint in the gaol, might remember those saintly words from a preacher.

I guess the righteous hangover Andy gets every morning is a message.

When he was on his deathbed they caught W.C. Fields,an avowed agnostic, reading the Bible. They were astonished and asked" Bill, what are you doing"? His response “Looking for loopholes”!

Oh Lord, please make me rightious and free of vice…..but…not just yet !

Without “sinners”, what would the “righteous” pontificate about?

The Vicar should be happy Cappers as Andy does show up in church & hears the sermons. There should be no problem with his relaxing at a pub!

Andy is in to reality. Go peddle your fairy tales elsewhere, vicar.

Most of the clergy I’ve known have their own vices.
