I’m guessing that Superman doesn’t own a golf course.

I grew up watching Superman on television. I remember him standing in front of the American flag, and the voice-over talking about how Superman stood for truth, justice, and the American way. I understood the American way to be fairness, equal opportunity, acceptance, helping those in need, fighting oppression and totalitarianism. I don’t think that the creation of a moneyed aristocracy – plutocracy in this country figured into the American way, then, and it does not now. Especially since Citizens United means that those with money hold vastly more power than those with little money. One person, one vote. End Citizens United. Write and call your representatives and senators. Oppose the Republican tax scam.

This graph really points out what supply side has done to inequity in the US and the futility of the parties to work for the middle class. We the People need to take our government back … the parties, it seems, are unwilling or unable to represent us.

Hey, ease off on the Republicans – they have to deliver something to their Lord and Master, Trump. So far, they’ve failed at everything else. Remember the new Republican Party motto: “Party first, ‘we the people’ last.”

If you going to throw out random gripes about something, at least explain your opposition to it. Instead of whining along party lines.

Here’s a gripe. The tax plan is going to cut corporate taxes an extra 15% which means the elite 1% will probably clear an extra $75,000 a year in Taxes, so if you’re rich you really need an extra $75,000 a year, to what? Take an extra Cruise this year? Go on another shopping spree? How much is the average American going to clear on their TEMPORARY TAX CUT ? For a few $1,400. but that ends in a few years while that tax cut for corporations is permanent. I’m not including in this gripe of mine all of the 1000 death cuts for things like cuts to the benefits of college tuitions, the cut of state and sales tax deductions, the cuts to health, welfare, education, child care, infrastructure, disaster relief, government departments that we rely on to run the country such as the state Department’s 30% budget cut ( which is only one example of disastrous budget cuts to government departments). The extra money will all go to increased military spending for a standing army that is larger than most other standing armies in the world AND that extra $75,000 tax credit that the idle elite 1% leeches at the top of our economy are going to gather on a permanent basis. Have you figured out how much you’re going to get in tax cuts this year or how much extra you’re going to end up paying?

Where are all the Trump Disciples claiming that these tax cuts for the rich are going to make America great again?

    .

And no ‘so-called’ “conservatives” lying that tons of jobs are going to be created by the Walton Family paying no estate tax?

NORMAN, here are some specific for you. Any plan where the Republicans say that they are doing this for their donors (the wealthy) over their constituents, is NOT a good plan.
