Huckabee, the old man – not the lying daughter, wrote that it was a Good Christian man who was a member of the NRA that killed the Atheist Liberal that shot up the Church and this was only a couple of hours after the shooting. It must me nice to be able to get all those facts that quickly. God must have deputized Huckabee and other Evangelical Christians to judge people in his stead.

I’m glad that God did not give me the responsibility for the salvation of other people’s souls. I have enough problem saving my own.

It is up to god to decide when people should die, not you.

We have enough RW trolls. There is no need for LW trolls, either.

    You are not helping.

I still like the “God” billboard that displayed this message …..“What part of Thou Shalt Not Kill did you Not Understand?”

There were no guys good enough to stop him before 26 innocent people died in a church. There were no guys good enough to stop the school shooting in Sandy Hook, there was no guy good enough to stop the massacre in Las Vegas. There must be a better defense than everyone being armed, everyone shooting at shooters and more guns in more hands. There will be no way to live through these mass shootings if even more guns are pulled out and fired.

We bring up this situation that probably should be discussed a lot right now. We can’t let any more time go by. It’s OK to ask questions, it is appropriate even though we’re in the heart of South Korea. Even if the Republicans will not answer the question. If we had sensible laws there would have been a difference in the Texas massacre, and we wouldn’t have needed that very brave person who happened to have a gun or a rifle in his truck go out and shoot him, and hit him and neutralize him. I can only say this: If he didn’t have a gun, instead of having 26 dead, you would have had none dead. So that’s the way I feel about it. It’s going to help.

Funny thing how civilizations existed for thousands of years before guns did.

Funny thing how wearing a gun did not help Wild Bill Hickok. In a town where many were armed.

Someone ought to read the news from Tombstone’s newspaper in the 1880s. (and not just about the Earps).

We have to thank the good guy with a gun who gunned down the shooter and then went straight to hell with him as he, too, was a murderer.

I am of divided mind about the Second Amendment: on the one hand, we do have mass shootings. However, there are instances of societies in which gun violence is unknown: The Third Reich, The Soviet Union, The People’s Democratic Republic of Korea.

Exactly. There is no such thing as a good guy with a gun. The “gun” part precludes the “good” part.
