Tillerson didn’t actually deny the moron comment. He’s also pretty sharp, he won’t resign as secretary of state when there’s a chance of Trump appointing a general to the post. He certainly has a lot of experience dealing with political leaders across the world, after all his previous company was larger than most of them.

He might just be afraid to leave the moron alone with the button. Some of these guys that are hanging in there are trying to make the best of a bad situation. Imagine how bad it would be if Trump was actually getting his way. And this might be one more nay vote in an Article 37 meeting.

Here’s an interesting little tidbit that is in no way Trump’s beloved “fake news”, and neither is it fake video: “I think Secretary Tillerson, Secretary Mattis and Chief of Staff Kelly are those people that help separate our country from chaos,” Sen. Bob Corker, the Tennessee Republican who chairs the Foreign Relations Committee, told reporters Wednesday.

Tillerson is contemptible in many ways (he lied under oath at his confirmation hearing when he said that he wouldn’t know if Putin is a war criminal unless he’d seen classified information—wrong! Anybody with the tiniest bit of common sense is fully aware that Putin, like Assad himself, is a war criminal), yet he is not insane (yet!) He also has outgrown the toddler stage that Trump is permanently stuck in, and without question would be better than a general at the post. (You have to wonder if Trump would nominate Flynn if Tillerson resigns or is fired…………)

It’s the “mirror administration”, they all have at least two faces.

From what I hear, the word he used was not “giant”. I seem to remember it starting with an “F”. And yes, I believe the reporter.
