and inside it he spins willy-nilly.

This is why his regime’s in a stall,

its policies disjointed and silly.

Meanwhile the Rs paint themselves into

some corners they can’t escape, …

… making mistakes which they can’t undo

as they flounder in raggedy shape.

Shouldn’t a lid be added,

to help us to hold him at bay?

And shouldn’t this cell be padded?, -

- to protect us from ricochet

as he pummels the wall of his padded stall

to frighten us all that he continues to brawl

in defiance audacious,

vexatious, voracious.
