Good afternoon everyone. I also slept through the opening bell. With the humidity, it was like 104°F here two nights ago and last night it was 39°F, so I finally caught up on some sleep and didn’t want to interrupt it even for Dick Tracy.
Tracy has apparently hard of phonoautograms before. Here quite knowledgeable, but I bet he hasn’t heard about phony phonoautograms!
Indeed, Neil! Tracy seems (panel 1) surprisingly knowledgeable about phonautograms. Now, why would he be aware of such obscure information, unless there were some buzz from his sources? Be that as it may, Honeymoon has brought her suspicions to the foreground, and correctly so (above, Anyface rightly noted her “evocative image” in panel 2). And in panel 3, classic Tracy springs into action, donning the fable yellow trenchcoat and fedora, the uniform of the city’s premier crimefighter. The case is open!
