More psychologists and psychiatrists are coming forward, because they feel there is a duty that overrides the cautious Goldwater Rule. I am a research psychologist, not a clinician, but I don’t need to be a clinician to see the dangerous detachment from reality, the immature-ego-driven behavior, the bullying, and the vindictiveness that makes this man a dangerous person to have in the White House. An article on the subject:http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/features/trump-and-the-pathology-of-narcissism-w474896
There is no doubt in my mind that Trump is mentally ill. However, what gets me is, how can people look at his strange ego driven behavior and see a populist hero fighting for the little guy?
The DSM revealed many Trump “idiosyncacies” long before he ran, and more after. Just need to put his phone on the couch, not the tapes of his speeches he claims he never made.

It’s too bad we have to put up with him for more than fifty minutes a week and we can’t bill him for it.
