This one reminds me of an older Garfield strip where Garfield scratches Odie, who in turn thumps his leg on the table repeatedly and sighs. When the scratching and thumping resume, the table shakes while Jon eats breakfast and Jon says, “Do you MIND?” Not sure when this comic was published, though.
