At this point, what difference does it make? Other than the Beltway pundits & a few hardcore Hillary backers who are holding on to hopes that somehow she can make one more run, everyone else in the Democratic party has moved on.
Time to talk about who’s going to be able to articulate the liberal vision for Americans who work for a living to counter the GOP’s empty promises like the 300 new coal jobs created under Trump…
One of the problems with our system is that political parties priorities are on raising cash first, and everything else after that.
Allowing electioneering to start so far in advance simply encourages more of the same focus on raising money, because it is expensive to advertise.
The Supreme Court decision that corporations were people too! also made the situation worse.
The Democrats had Bill & Hillary raising tons of cash for the party. So Hillary had to be their candidate in spite of much disaffection from the public. That’s why Bernie never had a chance with the party.
But Hillary’s baggage (even ignoring the crap the R’s kept slinging) was too great to overcome. Being cozy with bankers is never something that will get you the popular vote. (Trump obviously has problems with bankers, so that was a plus for him, even if it was a sign of poor business skills. Which is true of far too many Americans)
Election reform is badly needed in this country. And no, I am not talking about doing away with the electoral college, as crazy as that can be. There will always be support for something like that from low population states. So concentrate on what can be done.
Don’t like what Trump is doing to your bonehead butts? Well, you sexist Bozos asked for it. Take it, schmucks.I never fail to be amazed at how supposedly intelligent people constantly demonstrate their degenerate neanderthal misogyny.
There were a lot of things going on in the 2016 elections and the decades leading up to it. Folks who claim it’s all Hillary’s fault must have forgotten she won the popular vote.
The Electoral College was already antiquated when the Constitution was amended to allow direct elections of Senators. (So was the previous system of electing Senators already antiquated before it was—finally!—changed.) If we’d been electing presidents by direct vote all these centuries, and then somebody proposed an “Electoral College”, we would probably assume that he was tetched in the head.
The funny thing is, digging up dirt on Hillary, when Trumpster Fire is taking flak is also a right-wing populist move, end result Hill doesn’t look good either way.
What this cartoon “appears” to depict is a meeting between Secretary Clinton and the publisher of the book, where he’s presenting possible titles for the book, and Secretary Clinton is less than pleased with what is being offered. It’s very believable, publishers are always trying to generate controversy.
Comey did announce she was under investigation, when really it was Trump who was under investigation, but we didn’t find out until after he was selected. Putin did employ an army of hackers to go after the blogs and alt-media. The Deplorables voted for the most racist candidate (as they always do) Bill? he helped.

Folks who keep touting that Hillary won the popular vote keep neglecting that SHE LOST THE ELECTION. Nor did she win nomination in 2008.

Until elected officials start thinking about the Country first, instead of the Party, nothing will get better.

Hillary Clinton colluded with the Russians to destroy the country by making Donald Trump President.
At least, that’s what Trump seems to be saying every time he demands that the FBI, Senate, DOJ, Independent Counsels, etc., investigate her.
