Definitely not a spider from our realm of entity. Maybe from the Plateau of Leng in the Dreamlands. Infesting the mountain chain of Kaddath-Leng. The largest and most dangerous are the Purple bloated spiders of Leng. Trap intelligence. Believed to absorb and use the brains of those it consumes. Meaning humans and other creatures with big brains it somehow takes in and connects to its own nervous systems. Too dangerous to study in the wild. The largest can weigh up to 6 tons!
But there are many types of “spiders” in many dimensions and also mad scientists creating spider-human hybrids and other abnormalities. Might be one Liō raised himself. Might be a visitor from Beta Lyra (Vega) that resemble spiders but are closer to mammals in physiology and eat meat.
