    I’ve heard you can be an eagle or an owl. They say that you can’t soar with the eagles in the morning if you hoot with the owls at night. I hoot with owls myself.

    Pigeons are lummoxes. Other birds find them annoying because they sort of waddle in and take up space. It’s the mourning doves you don’t want to be; those guys are vicious.

    A man raises free range chickens. Eagles swoop down and kill them. He figures eagles cost him about $150,000 per year.

    (They figure he sure sets a good table.)

    He was showing people around and pointed out two sets of remains. One had been mostly devoured. The other had been killed and left otherwise untouched. He believes it was killed just for fun.

    Add eagles to the list of creatures which kill for fun. We are not alone.
