Looks like the entrance to a bunker…. no windows and an odd sort of chimney stack/vent.

BYZANTINE CRUSADER: You know, I keep hearing you Trumpees saying that but I never had to lose my doctor and no one I know had to lose theirs. Was your doctor some kind of shaman or quack that they didn’t qualify to be included? Or were you just a moron who bought insurance out of some guy’s trunk? Funny how Obamacare is so popular with the American people and getting even more popular everyday when they look at the horrors that the Repugnicons want to inflict on them with their replacement. Man, you gotta read a book some time and ween yourself off of Faux News.

NRHawk: First, I am neither republican nor trump lover. He’s detestable, as are Paul Ryan and Mitch the itch. But …In 2014, my previous health coverage ended, and I had to go on the ACA for a total of 3 months. Which was fortunate, because even though I took a “platinum” plan in order to keep the deductibles down somewhat, and which would allow me to use the local hospital of my choice rather than the next nearest one which has a bad rep, neither my primary care physician nor my cardiologist were in network. And my co-pays were higher. The drug plan wasn’t too bad.

What does that mean? Well, I could have gone to see the now out-of-network doctors, but I would have been paying a hefty price. None of the doctors in the network were ones I would think of going to see.

So, for me ACA meant a lot more money going out every month (for only 3 months thankfully) and the prospect of diminished health care with even more money out of pocket every month. When I went on Medicare, I had all my doctors back, and smaller monthly payments and co-pays (virtually gone) than I had been paying even before ACA. Want to guess which kind of national health care plan I would like to see?

Claiming the ACA as a wonder or an evil are both wrong. Maybe you could keep your doctor, but it would cost you a bundle. The ACA has made the insurers and drug companies richer. And remember, the corporate part was never enacted.
