I posted this somewhere, some months ago: Well now, if one looks to the original, archaic definition of “terrific,” i. e. “causing terror,” one might indeed describe the new RepublicansDon’tCare Potemkin health-care plan as “terrific.” It’s a hideous, patched together, brain-damaged Frankenstein’s Monster of a bill that will indeed terrorize its creators, as well as anyone else who has the sad misfortune of having to deal with it. Let it die aborning.
The GOP certainly has certainly done considerable damage to the ACA in the process of doing nothing to bring forth their “better” bill. And who suffers….Americans.
From the party that can’t put together legislation and can only vote no. We get healthcare that doesn’t cover anyone and rewards the rich. That sounds like their infrastructure plan, reward the rich and tear out all the roads the little people used to use.

Yes, the Republicans spiteful actions to gut the ACA and make it ineffectual are disgraceful. It’s true they only care about the top 1% leaving everyone else behind.
Americans are not quite ready yet to vindicate Churchill’s observation that Americans always do the right thing after they’ve tried everything else. But they’re getting closer. Single payer will eventually happen, so stay healthy in the meantime.

“Heal the sick”? I thought the purpose of healthcare reform was to figure out ways to make for-profit healthcare related companies more profitable.
