Edna Mode of “The Incredibles” would be pleased too.

She is not a brat but there are some out there who are all to eager to label them as such. And its nice Heart will think of her mother—-and “no capes!”

Makes a nice change from the dumb tutu. And it’s probably going to kick-start Dean’s hormones.

Wonder Woman has carried a shield and sword off and on throughout her existence. It’s been more prevalent since the late 80s when George Perez took over the artistic direction but there were certainly earlier examples (see the cover of WW 253 in 1979 for example).

As far as capes go, in the DC universe, outside of Batman and Superman (and their “families”) most superheroes don’t actually wear capes. Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Black Canary, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, etc. don’t wear capes at all.

I don’t think Wonder Woman ever shouted “Girl Power!”.

And if you’ve ever watched The Incredibles, you’ll know why.

Heart must be ambidextrous! In frame one she holds the sword in her left hand, but in frame three it’s in her right hand.

If the Justice League ever expected Diana to take out the trash, she’d have chucked them all out, recruited only female heroes, and renamed it “Girl Power” just to rub it in their faces.
