Sadly, very sadly, this cartoon is truer than we think. Literally the same events happen every day.

Concur, Darsan54. Abuse is rampant, as well as stupidity. The expression of Madame Asgar’s in the next to last panel sums it up nicely (thanks BTW Carol, nice strip), where it’s obvious to Madame Asgar as it was to Forest Gump’s mama, that “stupid is as stupid does.” TGIF!

PS, and in the 6th panel, her comment, “…he’s really cute.”… makes me want to poke a stick in my eye. really? seriously? he was cute, so you allowed him to walk all over you and turn you into the… aw jeez… why do I bother getting in a hover over stupidity. we can’t cure it unfortunately, although I think the Darwin Awards are a step in promoting less stupidity…

Sadly, there are people (of all genders) who get away with a lot just by being good-looking.

Madame Asgar should have seen this coming.

I thought the hero of the strip was the guy. It’s a great achievement, getting away with self indulgent rottenness, akin to MMA.

Love her expression in Panel Eleven. She’s thinking, “Can’t get more unfortunate than that!”
