I had a guy in my platoon in recruit training that could sleep standing up, eyes open, at position of attention. Stood right across from me, and it was freaky as hell.
Knew a lady worked nights with me in the Post Office 20 some years ago. She could sleep standing up while sorting mail
I think he painted eyeballs on the top of his eyelids.
