In “Jaws” (the 1975 movie) the shark had no name. But the film crew named the mechanical mock ups that portrayed the shark “Bruce”. There were at least three, perhaps four, all called Bruce.
Permitted ethnic humor (it’s part of my own heritage): Bruce, the Polish Piranha! (My grandfather would eat those, too.) (Not piranhas; ox tails and pigs feet….)
