    Well, actually, this is Boomer, another quite ancient great uncle of Scooter’s…

    from his mother’s long-lived, sturdy-built side of the family.

     

    Unaware of any specific breed or bloodlines …

    such things mean more to their human partners, anyway…

    They carry intelligence, good sense and quiet pride.

     

    But Boomer is forgetting things now,

    Right now he feels biologically challenged by Mr. Tumbler’s boldness,

    but his innate and long-rehearsed dignity is still holding sway.
