Whoa. It’s a flashback to the old paranoiac fantasy that people could watch you through your TV set.

It’d be pretty boring to watch me from my computer. All they’d see is a guy who needs to shave, drinking caffeine and reading the comics.

I’ll bet this would make an interesting Garfield Minus Garfield comic.

I have a webcam built into my laptop but I barely use it, I’ve only used it a few times on Skype.

So I can safely say my everyday life will not end up on Youtube.

I’m pretty sure that publishing someone’s video to the web without their consent can’t be technically legal.

The webcams on my desktop, laptop, and tablet all have little bits of electrical tape over them. Easy enough to remove if I decided I wanted them for something.

I not only use tape but I’ve also disabled the camera software too for good measure. If I ever need it, I just remove the tape and click “enable” in Device Manager to turn it back on.

Wonder if Liz has seen it…

So picking your teeth makes a slap sound? Wut?

For privacy reasons; I go out of my way to find computers that do not have built-in webcams/microphones. With desktops, that’s easy. With laptops, not as easy, but they’re out there.
