Judging by Garfield’s and Jon’s behaviour, it’s been several years now since Jim Davis was drawing/writing these cartoons. They must have been outsourced.
People saying Garfield saved himself, when I think he was just being smooth. There’s a reason he and Arlene have been together for so long. Moments like these are why.
