This president is mentally unbalanced. We are courting disaster. It is only a matter of time until he does the unthinkable. I used to think he was NPD but am becoming convinced he is seriously unhinged.

Ted, as you know, I have been trying to explain the “unhinged” behavior throughout the election and afterwards. The correct term is sociopathic narcissist with ADHD. Or, alternately, malignant narcissism with ADHD. Sometimes this is referred to by mental health professionals as one of a number of Antisocial Personality Disorders. Check the Mayo Clinic website for a layman’s definition. Or consult with the DSM-V, which is the guiding manual for mental health disorder diagnosis.

Maybe the members of the House interpret “defending the Constitution” differently?

    " ….

Article VI of the U.S. Constitution requires that Members of the U.S. Congress be bound by oath or affirmation to support the Constitution. Members-elect of the U.S. House of Representatives typically take the Oath of Office on the House Floor on the first day of a new Congress, immediately after the Speaker of the House has been elected and sworn in.

    The Speaker administers this oath:

“I, (name of Member), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God” (5 U.S.C. §3331).

    … "

Those are nice, fancy terms you’re throwing around there, and I’m sure we’re all duly impressed. But, I do have a couple of questions:

Are you a professional in the mental health fields? Have you actually ever even met the man? If not, what gives you the right to make a clinical diagnosis and splash it all over a public web site? Sure, you have free speech, but you don’t have the right to slander. (Unless, of course, you are a professional and you have spent clinical time with Mr. Trump – in which case, you should be bound by some sort of doctor/patient ethics.)

I’m just as concerned as anyone for the safety and well being of our country. If, as I suspect, you are trying to diagnose Mr. Trump from a distance, I’m worried that all you are really doing is fanning the flames.

There is also the problem of the mental states of his enablers (advisors, congress, et al).

Here ya go, Radish, a report on Trump and the Russian connection—-but of course (given it’s Trump) there’s a perfectly “reasonable” explanation:
