For the second sign to be true, it would have to be attached to a tree, with no one descended from an immigrant there to hold it. That would apply to everyone here, including the natives who lived here when this country was first colonized. All our ancestors came from elsewhere…
People keep talking about immigrants taking jobs away from Americans. The majority of illegal immigrants came into the country legally and then stayed when their green card expired. That means they were already here and presumably had jobs before they became illegal. Those who illegally cross the boarder generally take the jobs that very, very few Americans would lower themselves to do in working conditions that most Americans would find intolerable for wages most Americans wouldn’t accept.
If you want to get rid of those who illegally cross the boarder, you will have to
1) Demand your politicians get serious about punishing the companies who encourage illegal immigration by knowingly hiring illegal immigrants
2) Get ready pay a LOT more for your food because those big farms will have to charge a lot more money to make up for the huge wage increases they will need in order to get legal residents to pick their crops and slaughter their livestock.
People are being harassed by authorities even if they are 100% legal. One person I know BORN in this country brings his passport with him everywhere now, because police pull him over and won’t accept his driver’s license as proof. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
If you look very white, you might not get this. But these are CITIZENS, with the Constitutional right against unreasonable search & seizure. That’s the FOURTH Amendment, for those of you who can’t read above two.
And if you say “well, if he’s innocent, he has nothing to fear,” then please re-read the paragraph above. The Constitution does NOT permit random harassment. But it happens.

Paul Ryan and Repub House members met with ICE and threw out members from CHC (Hispanic Caucus). This is after they rescheduled the meeting originally called for by CHC.
