The interesting thing is the people surrounding trumpy. They are going through a daily hell working for a sociopathic narcissist with ADHD. Pence likely signed up knowing how mentally ill his Dear Leader is and thinking he had a good shot at the top job because trumpy will self destruct. The republicans in Congress are already upset about the lack of consultation with the Muslim ban from seven countries. They may agree with the politics, but they resent being shut out. They need to either get used to it or be patriotic, and stand up to the sick little dictator.
Meanwhile, staffers in the White House are reportedly trying without success to pull little donny away from the television, where he watches compulsively for hours, and needs to respond to every imagined and real slight and insult. Remember this as you take in visual media—little trumpy is watching, seething in anger and tweeting madly away. Those around this man get it. They love the power, though, and will serve the insane liar far longer than anyone could reasonably expect. This can’t end well.
It isn’t that the Republicans lack spine, it’s that they have very flexible principles and an extreme resistance to recognizing the limits of what they can get done. Mitch (and probably Pence as well) really probably believed they could control Trump, but failed to recognize that Trump only responds to his inner alt-right circle and family, some of whom seem to be as much dark tetrad personalities as Trump himself.
I strongly recommend reading about the rise of the Nazi state. Richard J. Evan’s The Coming of the Third Reich is particularly excellent — readable and magisterial. Hitler was strongly supported by major corporations, since he promised to cut regulations and taxes, and the military, which was restive under post-WWI restrictions (and strongly right-wing), and both the military and corporate leaders assumed they would be able to control this inexperienced corporal who was just riding a political wave.
If Mike’s depictions of Trump’s hands continue to get any smaller, before long it will just be empty sleeves .. then, who knows, an empty collar ? I’m already thinking of the waiting room in Beetlejuice.
MDAVIS, I think lots of people hate Trump or, more precisely, hate what Trump is doing to America. I don’t think it’s a derangement it’s, simply, seeing that our new President is tearing our good Country down, stomping on it, and tweeting what a great person he is for doing it with, “I’m getting things done !”

Great graphic! Very realistic parrot, and funny juice box on the desk. Probably need some legos, though. And an enemies list, written in crayon…

The problem isn’t the parrot, it is who Trump is parroting.

And they were so, so wrong…

All sane people hate tRump. If you approve of his actions, there is something seriously wrong with you!
