Now Tracy has good reason to turn on the lights and siren! I expect that the missed checkpoint may be on the ground floor. The thieves spent too much time drugging the couriers and stealing their clothes. Now they have allowed suspicion to arise. Pouch’s plan is not going as well as it could.

Checkpoint guy seems to be mispronouncing “Flammel” as “Frammel” too.

Being far from the foremost authority, I’m curious as to how much Eisner’s art style evolved over the years, and how much the character’s look occasionally differed would be due to which Eisner associate might be contributing work.

Came across these stunning, though in hindsight off-model, covers …

Im guessing they came out the same time the Spirit movie did (interesting note, the actor who played Denny/The Spirit is the same guy who plays one of the lead lawyers on the usa network show Suits)

They got problems if it takes Tracy giving the lockdown order. They should have done that before they even called him. Hopefully the next reply was “All ready done, Dick”.

Regarding the fact that the original Brush character was blown to smithereens at the end of the original story (and also that it doesn’t make much sense for him to currently have hair on his face), Mike Curtis writes on Facebook:

“Mike here. Blame me. When I wrote the script, I didn’t have the reprint of the Brush story and didn’t remember he died at the end of it. My apologies to one and all.”

Iconic Tracy image in panel 1!

Who’s the plainclothes cop with the Wrist Wizard in panel 2? —One of Tracy’s MCU minions?

Hurry up, Tracy! I’m sure the Spirit is itching for some action, since pretty much all he’s done since arriving in Tracyville is flirt with the young ladies….
