How is he your responsibility, Gil? Are you his guardian?

In p1, Gil looks like he’s wearing an oversized Gil Thorp mascot head.

Were Bitsy and Mimi on vacation together? They’ve both been missing for a while. What do you think, HooDad?

    Welcome back, ladies.

Looks like Gil brought a bunch of the ants home with him. It doesn’t seem to bother Mimi, though. And where has Mimi and a matter of fact her team, been? Since Gil started taking the girls on his team, maybe they stopped having girls teams at Milford.

Hmmm. Whaat kind of baack room business does Tinaa Aagaard haave going there aanywaay? This must be aa front for a bookmaaking operaation.

Gil – Jami and Keri were your responsibility too. I sure hope A A-Ron doesn’t suffer the same fate.

Mimi wishes Gil would poke around other places once in awhile too.

Somehow, GilPa, kids and responsibility do not mesh well in the same sentence. Like most successful actuaries, Tina Aagard pliers her trade hammering out rates based on risk, filing addendums with the state insurance department and digging away to make the loss ratio profitable.

Watch out Mimi! Unless Gil’s left arm is 5 ft. long, Thing is creeping up on you!

I would take my business elsewhere if I saw a hardware store with that low quality signage.

Why are some trees bare and some covered in leaves? Why is Gil’s coffee cold in P2 and piping hot in P2? Why is Gil’s sock talking? All questions that interest me more than this plot.

P1: Gil and Mimi watch Sesame Street segment 2 of the things belong together, 1 of these things doesn’t belong while Gil shows his mastery of the ancient art of Shin-Toe.

P2: Extremely inappropriate reply to Mimi’s obvious dashed hopes.

P3: Proof we’re in Milford. If this were the current time frame she’d be working at a Software Store.

If Gil’s going to look into things that are none of his business, I wish he’d find out what’s wrong with Sign Man that makes all these businesses in the Valley hire his capable competitors.

In all reality , You mean Trash Can Tina she’s behind the store picking garbage . It’s a shame she has to dumpster dive to put food on the table for her and her kid. Kids not a bad basketball player but malnourished . Coach at Milford must be blind not to see that .

“Oh hi, Mrs. AQuad. You don’t know me, but I’m your son’s basketball coach. It has come to my attention that based on your alleged actuary occupation you should live in a nicer neighborhood. So I had my assistant coach stalk you and track you down to this hardware store. I need you to explain why you live where you live, as that will obviously solve the mystery of your son’s erratic behavior and lead us to the Playdowns. I know the story sounds like a cliche, but that’s the scoop. Now spill the beans of your personal life.”

And speaking of spilling, don’t spill your coffee when you are laughing uproariously from today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

So, Mrs. AA lost her actuary job and now works in a hardware store, where AAAA helps her, working graveyard on some evenings (doing what exactly?), thus accounting for his crap games on the days after—but outstanding ones after days off—and why he has to steal other kids’ apples for lunch?

Good thing Mrs. Aa updated her linkedin profile to show she left her position as a senior aactuary to pursue a career as bookkeeper/backup key-cutter/paint mixing consultant at McShane’s.
